I should be doing something

Sigh.. classes starts today.. my 8th year in college.. i sure hope this will be my last year in UPLB.. i really want to graduate this time.. unfortunately i dont have a class in my one and only subject today.. Eco11 lecture. so i am here in front of Andrew's pc.. bumming.. doing nothing when i should be doing something. arghh... why am i so lazy... oh well... i think i just need my "someone" to keep me from moving on.. sadly, that "someone" is in muntinlupa right now.. bumming... doing nothing when she should be doing something too. :P anyway, that line magically woke my system.. so goodbye for now. i think i'm going to train a bit then head to CEAT then go home. ill try to be diligent this time around.. let's see what happens. ciao!

End of Summer

Summer, my best summer vacation ever is about to end.. time to start a new life in UPLB.. as a diligent student.. impossible as it may seem I'm looking forwards to seeing myself study hard before an examination or reviewing notes while waiting for the class to start. fun time is over, it's time for me to get serious with my life if I plan on doing something with it. it's very hard to imagine myself beign serious in my academics and it's a lot harder when I'm already doing it. the only thing that will push me to carry on will be the memories my friends and i created this summer..

April: Probably the happiest day in Cherrie's life. after 6 long years Cherrie has finally graduated college.. I can still remember the old days when i have to go fetch her just to make sure she attends the next class. those wonderful afternoons where Im always looking forward to walking with you to Crossing because Im able to rest my hands on your shoulders and pretending that Im your boyfrend ^^... hehehe... sobrang dami na natin pinagdaanan.. sana eto pa lang ang simula ng kalsada nating dalawa. ^_^

March-May: summer classes! and the good thing is... wala akong klase! grabe ang sarap pala magbakasyon.. naaalala ko pa nung bata ako ayaw na ayaw ko ng summer vacation kasi walang baon tapos di makalabas kasi walang pera at bata pa... pero ngayon basta may pamasahe ako sige lang! labas lang ng labas! heehe para nga akong border sa bahay namin ngayong summer e. aalis ng tanghali babalik ng gabi... nakakaguilty minsan kasi di ko natututlungan si mama pero teh hell! first time ko lang nakapagsummer break in 7 years! :D of course inubos ko ang oras ko sa taekwondo. nagpalakas ng katawan... :D may naidulot namang maganda dahil naka-gold medal naman ako sa tournament namin.. hohohoh!!!

May (post summer classes): walang katapusang kalokohan. laro ng ragnarok, nood ng drama, halohalo, kwentuhan (tungkol sa ragna), densha otoko... at ang sobrang nakakaiyak na Summer Snow (thumbs up for you dianne dahil pinapanoodm o sa amin kahit lahat tayo umiyak... though tumatawa si andrew habang nanonood kami hula ko naiyak din un lololz!)

ang saya noh? para sa akin hindi masaya yan. ang masaya sa akin ay yung mga paminsanminsang pagdalawa ni Cherrie dito sa lb para lang makita ako. yung ang dahilan kung bakit ako masaya ngayong summer vacation. sya ang kumukumpleto sa buhay ko. sya na nga lahat ang magdedefine ng lhat ng gusto ko sa aking buhay, (well except siguro sa katamaran nya) .. :D pero ang masasabi ko sa inyo lokohin nyo na ko sa ragnarok, ipamukha nyo na sa akin na nagpakasal kayo or magkaparty kayo or magkausap kayo, walang talab yun. dahil sa oras na bisitahin ako ni cherrie ngingitian ko na lang kayo dahil ako kayakap ko sya. kayo hinde! bleh! :P:P hehehe mahal na mahal ko yan si cherrie kahit na madalas nakikita nyo na di kami mushy o sweet sa isa'tisa.. teh hell kayong lahat. mahal ko sya mahal nya ko, yun na yun.

This is my best summer vacation dahil nandito parin si cherrie *thumps fist to chest* at walang kayang pumalit dun..

The End is The Beginning is The End

Just finished reading the Dark Tower series. And for now let me be the wordslinger. Thankee-sai!

The Dark Tower series tells the tale of Roland Deschain and his qeust for the elusive Dark Tower. The sotry begins in Out-World where Roland chases the "man in black" whom he think knows the way to the Dark Tower. In his journey, he draws 3 companions from our world to accompany him in his quest. What's so capturing about the book is how the author connects our world to Roland's world and to other worlds as well. While the main plot is Roland's quest to reach to Dark Tower (not to save it I tell yah, but to reach it and find out just what is inside) the character development remains rich in pertinent detail while preserving the mood of the story. In other words, there never was a dull moment in the series. As the story progresses, the excitement increases exponentially leaving the readers gasping for air by the time they reach the last book. The book was masterfully done and exquisitely rich with details, many readers will either praise Sai-King or condemn him to hell by the time they finish the book. But we should always remember that Sai-King did not made these things up, he only wrote down what he saw.

While I was reading the series, two questions persistently troubles my mind every now and then, and maybe as a reader of The Dark Tower series you might probably encounter these questions. "What will happen to Roland after he reaches the Tower? and "What is inside the Tower?" But I know you all know the answer, most of us just can't accept it.

Once is enough, Twice is another, Three is Triple Kill!!

The other day Celsus informed us that there was to be a DotA tournament the next day somewhere in San Antonio. Andrew and I wanted to join but unfortunately our teammate Gelosas wasn't around so we kinda decided not to join unless we manage to get our third member. Yesterday while Cherrie and I were playing DotA AI in h5, Andrew and Dianne came and informed us that team Gebranka (Celsus, Marksman, Ewan) were banned from the DotA tourney which was to be held that day at 5:30 pm. So Andrew decided to forego with joining the tourney with Dianne as our third member. Although Dianne was very pressured by our advices she still enlisted herself as our team member. when we arrived there we discovered that we can afford to have an alternate member, so we decided to pick Celsus as our alternate. Since it was the Team Gebranka who were banned and not the individual players. so with Dianne off the hook, we started the match with confidence and great pressure because I was dumb enough to put Gebranka as our team name. we had to live up to that name or be damned by celsus's team for the rest of our lives.

The first match was against Team Ziggurat (whom I've heard were the ones who requested for Marksman's team to be banned). The lineup was as followed

Scourge: Me/Lich , Drew/Medusa , Celsus/Krobelus

Sentinel: Rhasta , Sven , Sniper

the match was good but what brought them down was their WTF item build, Skill tree, and their WTF farming. Sniper decided to make a caster sniper, Cleaving Sven, and Double Eul's rhasta. while rhasta managed to pawn Andrew's ass in the early game, sniper and sven were very outmatched in their lane. also they were surprized by our new hunting tactics which was the "Need help? ill TP = Ownage" tactic. also after medusa got enough money from farming while me and cel manages to push the 3 heroes with just the 2 of us, he managed to have his revenge with rhasta. :D the match was good. one thing i couldn'y forget was when we ambushed sven while farming in the bottom lane with 15 of our creeps. basta pinanood lang namin sya magfarm habang binabarya sya ng creep namin tapos nung kalahati na lang buhay nya saka namin pinatay. napakaWTF talaga :P

The Second match was against some team from Calamba daw. basta ang masasabi ko lang... kilala nyo sina padizo? yung naglalaro sa Gandalf na may kasamang girl na naglalaro? kaya nilang durugin yun team na yun ng walang hirap. the match was like a break for us. the line-up were:

Scourge: Me/Lich , Celsus/Krob , Drew/Doom

Sentinel: Morphling , Rhasta , Syllabear

basta nakakatawa. panoorin nyo na lang yung replay. natatawa talaga ako level 3 first blod ni Lich. grabe yun yung pinakamabilis kong first blood. lvl 10 na ako yung rhasta 5 pa lang yta o 4. basta wtf talaga. nasiraan kami ng 1 tower kasi pabaya si andrew (hehe joke lang!), basta nagpupush na kasi kami nun tapos nagttrip na lang kami kaya di namin napansin na binabasag na pala ng creep yung 1st tower ni drew. wawa sila creep pa nakabasag ng tower. rexxar lololz! :P

yung Finals yung sobrang pinagisipan namin kasi team Area51 yung kalaban namin comprised of Dim, Rey, and Arct tapos AP game sya tapos halinhinan sa pagpili ng heroes so expected namin na lich ang unang kukunin kasi lakas deny. fortunately for us, eventhough di kami nanalo sa toss nakuha parin namin yun lich kasi pinili nilang ideny kay celsus yung krob. but denying celsus krobelus was their greatest mistake kasi ang pinili ni cel ay si nevermore. while drew happily picks doom bringer, the other team picked sniper and venomancer to complete the lineup

Sentinel: Dim/Venomancer , Arct/Sniper , Rey/Krobelus

so our plan was to harrass sniper para di lumaki. fortunately katapat ko sya. ayun harassed sya. basta ang galing. masasabi ko lang, kung wala kaming manok malamang talo kami. di kami naubusan ng wards so di naambush si drew tapos di na kami halos umuuwi gawa ng manok. pero yun yung pinakamagandang laro nung gabing yun. :D

all in all that was a great way to end the DotA sem, and although wala si Gelosas alam kong masaya parin sya para sa amin. para sayo yung panalo namin Gelo! Mabuhay!! Rexxar Lololz!! ingat ka jan tol!

The yellow region is where our good friend Gelosas will be staying for 3 whiole years! He will be leaving for China tomorrow.. awww... ang lungkot naman... parang ayoko na magpost.. pero para sa mga nakakakilala kay Gelosas ayan, nagprovide na ako ng map para naman kung sakaling mamiss natin xa madali na natin xa mahahanap kasi may map na tayo. :D good luck and have fun Gelosas!
